Interview with representatives of Labour organizations at Serpa
on 26 October 2022:
While they went in and they say we have to protest about three questions.
“First, we work 12 hours during the day and only 40 minutes to eat. That's not
human.“
“The second question is we work all day, but we need to drink water. You are in
a greenhouse environment that's very humid. Well, you can disagree it is the right word. It's dangerous if you cannot drink. So the only way they bring a bottle
like this or a big one for the day is if the water is finished. The company doesn't give
them water. You go home and this day you don't receive more money okay? That'sa punishment. It's ridiculous. Okay, there is this public water problem. Not very good
quality, but it's enough to survive, okay.“

work more and more quickly and the supervisor wants you to work more
and more and more, all this is a part of depression.”
